Angry Help me decide st170 needs clutch fix it or sell it spares or repair ?

well im stuck in a rut i own a 2003 st170 4 door standard car apart from a set of 17" tsw freeze it was cat d in 2008 wing bonnet & front bumper repaired with genuine parts still has mot
sep tax march

after buying it ive spent ££ getting the car running bang on just had cambelt kit , service , new tsw alloys , imrc , 2x new lambdas so it stands me at good money and now the clutch is slipping im gutted im not in the best money situations at the min and my mate said its gonna be £500+ to have one fitted he said il need a dual mass a master cylinder and clutch kit plus fitting so ive got to think about what i wanna do im not in a position to break it shame as the bits pull good money so do i cut my losses and flebay it spares or repair or do i byte the bullet and get it done ?

what do you think id get if i sold it as it is runs perfect clutch slips over 2000 rpm ?

im just stuck and dont know what to do

well my car is going on ebay £0.99p no reserve in about half hour

im gutted beyond belief im just not in a posision to have it done at the moment if anyones intrested il put the item number up later .

i'd have fixed it, you wont necessarily need to replace the fywheel although it is advised, for me i'd just fit a lightened single mass one, not much difference from dual mass in cost.
clutch shouldn't be more than £100 for a kit from a motorfactors (depends on release bearing of course)
labour should be a few hours, but not more than £100-150 i'd have thought.

i can't see it making enough money to justify selling it as it is, then again it's a catd so will put off alot of buyers.

well if anyones intrested its item number 280453319275 had loads of intrest and some cars and some cash offers but its only been listed 12 hours so far .

well cars now sold went and picked my new car up tonight focus tdci not as quick as the st granted but jesus its cheap to run its low and slow lol
