Default Hella problems

This is my first post on hear so HELLO first of all.

I have a set of mk 1 hella headlights and they obviously have a mark 1 coupler on them, but the problem i have is my RS has mk 2 couplers for the headlights.

Has anybody fitted mk1 hella headlights on the RS? If so how did you get around this.

Only idea i have is to cut the coupler off the new headlights (dont want to cut the coupler off the cars loom) and get terminals to fit into the RS's coupler.

Any help would be great.

Thank you for your time.

I've got them on my focus rs all you have to do is get the early type conectors, i think you can buy ka ones!! which fit (strip the car loom, you don't have to cut them) all you need then is to get the conector view for an old mk1 focus pre2001 and change the wiring around took me less than a hour!!!

THEY USE TO SELL THEM!! TRY AND GET THE PART NO 2MORROW!! YOU HAVE TO GET THE CONNECTOR VIEW FROM FORD. THE TECHS WOULD HAVE TO GO ON TO ETIS AND GET THE WIRING VIEWS FOR YOU (JUST SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN THE WORKSHOP) IF NOT TRY TO LOOK AT AN PRE 2001 FOCUS AND CHANGE YOUR CONNECTORS AROUND
