Na didnt import, this is the prototype that was at the ford fair, cosworth sent it down for my old man to check it out before it went, the thing is that the car was brought over from the USA to try and sell the kits over here but what we found out was to start with its a 2.3 and we dont have a 2.3 litre focus over here so there mite be a little problem?????

Can anyone remeber the set of focuses that came out that brooklyn did i think it was 170, 190, 230 well that what my old man did that why we had the priviges of seeing this focus they were on top gear

Ah right, I see. Still, awsome motor to have.

But like you said, having the 2.3 might be a little problem? No parts in this country for it is there???

The 190 was a 1.8 Turbo I think...don't quote me on it though....

Top motor, sleeper!

It's a 2.3l duratec HE (not same engine as galaxy) , it's the same engine as used in the caterham CSR260, and it is very similar the the 2.0l duratec HE used in the mk3 mondeo and the mk2 focus, lots of tuning companies use the 2.3, bits are not a problem.

It doesn't fit in the MK1 focus very well though, bit of an american botch job
