Default Dump valve removal?

Hi. My mk2 rs has a forge dump valve fitted which replaces the symposer hose with a T hose. I want to put it back to standard so I need the red hose in this picture

I haven't got this hose but I have one from an st which is the same shape but it's a black hose instead of the red colour

Can I use this black one or will o have to try to get the proper red one?

As long as it holds boost pressure then it will not matter.

That's the thing it's off an st so physically it will fit but the st obviously has lower boost levels then the rs so unsure if it will be ok.

I am sure it would take 5 times the standard boost, you can't damage the engine if it fails so give it a go.

That makes sense. It's just a bit odd that ford would make the same part out of different material for the rs if the st part was good enough anyway.
