Default Intercooler

what would we say standard intercooler good for bhp wise on focus RS MK2? i see they have plastic end caps are these known for blowing off?

I had to fit a 500 style one when I up graded mine to 350bhp

There are no plastic caps on any of the four intercoolers fitted to the Ford Cosworth range. Which model of car do you have?

It's more a question of how long you want the BHP for than how much. For normal road use most decent RS500 style ones will be fine. If you're doing trackdays then it's a different kettle of fish.

I am about to take a decent 500 cooler off my car (pace) and fit a new one, I will sell mine cheap as I have cut of the "ears" that normally mount it to the front of a Sierra to fit it in my 205. Easy to make it fit. Mine is support d at bottom and by the boost hoses.

how much you looking for? am fitting to a 367bhp maestro!
