Just been looking at the alleged options list over on the rsoc site. I'd just managed to convince myself to not get one but now I'm feeling like I'd like one again... Some serious decisions to be made as I doubt I can afford/justify having the cosworth as well. I know I'll regret it if I ever do sell so need to see if I can make the numbers work - good value at under £30k I think though.

No wonder women are always worried we will trade THEM in for a younger model. Brammer and co. stick with your beloved Sierra's, deep down you know it's the right thing to do.

Would rather buy a ST tbh looks wank in 5dr form just like what they did to many of the other decent marks, had a good look round the one at ford fair impressed = not, just waiting on the FRS3 club/forum to start up if not already done

I need to see one in the flesh before I order but I'm 75% decided
Shame I didn't make it to national day to see it

Was passenger in a demo one for a local dealership and also managed a close up look at one at ford fair, I can appreciate the tech in the car but its simply a RS afterthought as money earner, just a ST on steroids

Different power train, front and rear bumpers, wheels brakes and side skirts, aside from wide arches it seems like every other RS ever released.

Correct. At the end of the day a saff cossie is just a ghia with a bitta slap and an uprated pinto. And half this website stroke the conkers off themselves over one.

But when its a modern car (in this case a Focus) it gets ridiculed.

If they where money makers - sorry overpriced shite, the attitudes of some would change re: nearly every RS prior...

I'm heading to dealers to have a chat tomorrow, I'm sold on the looks. Slightly understated (like the saph was) but still easily recognisable. Figures and spec look great. Only issue is I took the cosworth for a drive today and got so much respect (folk taking photos etc) and enjoyed driving it so much that I fear I'll miss that feeling with a new car...
