Try this first - buy a can of carb cleaner and take of the throttle housing and top boost hose off. Carefully with a wipe clean out as best you can all the carbon (make sure to be extra delicate with the throttle flap). Then spray a liberal amount down down into the inlet and spray and coat everything inside. Leave for an hour or so and then start it up, might be a bit of white smoke as it burns all the carb cleaner off.
