Default swapping ecu's

Just wondered is it just a straight swap or is there other things needed?

Cheers.

Not quite a straight swap. Physically yes but in reality no. At the very least you will need your old ecu read for the cars transponder codes and then when the new ecu fitted they will need to programmed in or otherwise your cars immobiliser will stop it starting. Or if you cant get your code off old ecu you'll also need the chip out the other cars key and I think that will then work it
