Default Slave cylinder help :)

Hi people, Just bought a new clutch with the slave cylinder ( For the MTX 75 ). I have fitted the clutch but when I've come to fit the slave cylinder I realized I've got the iB5 Transmission. So basically am wondering if I can still use the mtx 75 clutch and still use my old slave cylinder ( which is a year old ) on the ib5 transmission.

Thanks

pricey

when replacing the clutch i'd always replace the slave cylinder but as its only a year old it should be fine if its not done many miles.

isn't the ib5 clutch a different size to the mtx75???

No chance - the clutch, cover plate and slave cylinders are all different.

You need IB5 ones so best get them cleaned up and back to the factor you bought them from. Hopefully they'll still take them back.
