Focus Mk 2 1.8 Zetec Climate
Hi,
I currently drive a Ford Focus Mk2 (07) 1.8 Zetec Climate and to be honest its the most dull, unexciting car i have ever drove.
I am wanting to wake the car up.
I have had a little search through this site and others and the only cars being modified are the ST & RS, both of which are not an option for me at the minute.
Does anyone know of any Mk2 cars being tuned or any ideas/companies that can do anything with my current engine?
I am looking at:
Suspension Upgrades
Would like:
Either engine conversion OR the current 1.8 duratec tuning.
Bigger brake conversion.
Any information and ideas would be fantastic.
Thanks in advance
Mark

If you find the Focus a dull and unexciting car, then there is something wrong with you, as it is widely renowned as the best handling car in its class....
Not a lot of point trying to make it faster in a straight line. If you want to be quicker point to point, then suspension and brake upgrades are what you want. A set of ST front brakes should fit on no problem, then stick some eibach lowering springs on it to make it handle better.
