mine had a similar problem,
swap some relays about in the under bonnet fuse box, mine had a faulty main on relay (large grey ones) swapped it with the rear screen relay and all worked ok
otherwise it goes
battery----main on relay----fuelpump relay----inertia fuel cut off----pump
hope this helps

after testing the relays and pump all seemed ok and was getting a 12v feed ok, so i had to take the tank off to find out if it was the pump. i was just hoping it was a relay lol. this is what i found thank fuk the car didt go up ion flames. so ive ordered a new pump so i hope it sorts the problem out.

yup, that will do it, good thing you caught that when you did
bit of a pain having to drop the tank to change the pump though, posibly the one and only thing that is good about peugeots, they have an access pannel under the seat to remove it that way (know what i will do if i need to change a pump)
should be good when its all sorted and at least you found a proper problem
