Default Knocking when turning left at low speed?

Hi all

Got a knock coming from the drivers wheel area at low speed when turning left. Any ideas what it could be before I go ripping it to bits?

Cheers all

Rich

Yeah thats right, not necessarliy at full lock, just turning at low speeds. I have noticed it at low speeds when going straight too, but only a couple of times.

Passed the mot only a few weeks ago though, so I doubt its anything too drastic

Are you using Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres ?, had a few develop mysterious ridges, that had me 100% convinced that the joint was shagged, only when taking tyre off did I notice the ridges, so tried another wheel problem gone.
The ridges that developed were about 60-70 degrees apart, 4 in total, and that bad you could feel it tugging the wheel and clunking, never in a straight line though, it was perfect then.

Thanks for the help, no I am not using F1's.

Jacked it up earlier but didn't have any axle stands so didnt get underneath the car, had a good poke around though and couldn't find anything loose or perished.

Might be a garage job i think!

CV joint perhaps? Lowered my saph (unintentionally) on eibach pro kit, and now under certain turning conditions, the O/S outer joint knocks like a good un. You checked this?
