Default focus rs fuel

hi just got a rs focus and the person said i need to put in super unleaded is that right or can i just use my normal unleaded petrol many thanks karen

must use super at all times!!, if normal is used it will retard the fuelling making it run lean which will result in melt down over a period of time

I use Tesco 99+ if i can.

97+ is a must, only a few times have a used normal unleaded.

it does say in the manual only use 97 ron fuel!

99 ron if more expensive than v power isn't worth it. they did tests in performance or fast ford

Tesco 99 for me - seems to run my near on 400bhp monster of an FRS without any probs - car actually runs better on the Tesco '99 compared to when trying to map it on v-power

My car seems to run equally well on either V-Power or Tesco 99, but I do get about 15 miles extra out of a tank of V-Power.
