i have a ford ka and i have put a Frs engine into it. i have fired it up on a base map, but b4 i get it mapped i want to drive it to see that i have no leaks and that the engine stays cool (the rad is in the boot). i know the problems i will get if i boot it b4 its mapped, but i just want to drive it up and down the road off boost.

has any one got a map for a focus rs runing on omex600? as the base map is only realy good engf to start the engine. i have area6 style manifold with 650cc (ish) simans injectors and a cossy fuel reg. std turbo. i have trimed down the fueling a little on the base map to get it to idel a rev abit better, but the timeing is well off.

Give Chris Todd @ Torque of the Devil, i know he has mapped an Omex 700 on a Focus RS. From what i hear it gave some pretty impressive fiqures aswell. Well over 300bhp with out a turbo upgrade i think...

there are pics of my ka on 'myka.org.' il put some up on hear when i take some more, as i have done alot to it over xmas. i have spoken to chris todd, and i want him to map it as he is only 15min from my house. but i dont want to give him the car until i know it is 100%, the engine makes alot of heat! im hopeing this is due to the amount of retard in the spark timing as the map is only a start up map.
