Blue Fin re-set?
Hi, unfortunately i have been forced to sell my FRS due to buying a house that needs some work and eventually realising that for the time being i cant have both... But anyway, I have a blue fin that i want to sell on e-bay and have been told that it needs to be reset before another can use it. I wrote an e mail to Superchips to ask about the cost of this and was told that it was not possible, the best they could do was offer the new owner a 30% discount off the price of a new hanset. If this is the case how can anyone sell a used blue fin? Any info or suggestions would be much appreciated....
Thanks,
James

Bluefin will only reset the units if it is valid reason such as Ford flashing the ecu & damaging the map or similar - they will not reset a unit so that a private individual can then sell it privately for £££
You may as well sell the car with Bluefin tbh

the way i understood it was they did once flash the units and charge you like £300 for it but now they just replace them for around the same price..
guessing they then re-condition your unit and sell it anyway?
