Default what mileage does a standard focus rs return?

thinking of buying one now as i have had my tdci focus for a year now. i did post this in general but got a return of 6 replys.

so what does £20 or a full tank provide mileage wise in your focus rs - driving sensible and driving mad.

As before mate, £20 of V-power returns me 100-115 miles (sensible, with the odd blast to give Saxos and the like a kicking)

The same money driving like an absolute twat takes that down to 70-80 miles, but to get it that low I really need to kick the arse out of it.

I've had loads of Turbo motors over the years (14 in total, everything from Cav turbos, to Nissan 200SXs) and this is one of the best I've had on fuel, but at the end of the day, if you're worrying about fuel costs then you're best off keeping what you've got!

Default mpg

i get high 20's outof mine,

a full tank (circa £50) gets me just over 300miles.

To be honest though most of the time it does a steady 60 into work on a 20mile run each way.

Milltek manifold,
De cat

K&N panel filter

I get around 350 from a tank mostly m way driving though.

your averaging over 30 mpg probably not impossible, but certainly you don't power the car at all.

Yer like I said thats only just cruising at 70 ish so no boost and not much throttle. Needless to say it's nothing like that when she's taken out on my days off work
