Default Dodgy Focus RS problem

I went to look at a FRS on a 52 plate this morning, it's covered 42K and looks like it hasn't been exactly pampered, but it is going fairly cheap so I can live with it it not being completely mint

However, it does have one very annoying problem though, which I found on the test drive - it keeps cutting out at low revs'

Does anyone have any ideas why it's doing this?

I expect the reason why its cutting out is that is been fitted with an atmospheric dump valve such as a Bailey DV26.
