Jim, turbo cost about Ł1000, they won't give me all the spec as they don't want others to copy, but is't a GT28/32 with a roller bearing core. I just phoned the guy at Turbo Dynamics and he says I am going to be very impressed with the results. My car is still not back together yet but should be tomorrow.

I asked for 310-325 bhp so fingers crossed. Because its still GT25 housing it should be a lot less laggy than GT28's

No not on a front wheel drive car, I was struggling for grip as it was and it will be worse now(until I get Yokohamas). So to go to the bother of a big laggy GT28 I just didn't see the point. But mine has still to be tested and the head guy at Turbo Dynamics is very interested in the results. Pat at Primary designs is also very interested in the results and wants me to go down there and have Superchips custom map my bluefin for all the new modsn and get dyno readout to compair mine with the other cars he's done.

thats fair enough keith

It will be intresting to see the results.

not sure to wait for the out come of your dyno or just go for the gt28rs and a front mount intercooler.

You gonna come down for the ford fair?

Cheers,

Jim

Let us know how you get on at superchips, i asked around about the custom mapping by them and the GT28RS files and they said that with the FRS's hitting near 350Bhp all they do is retard the ignition slightly up the top end stop it pinking/detonating
