Default my focus not sure what to do ???

well tryed the baby seat and the booster seat + my lad and misses in the rs and its not working so it looks like it might have to go just when i had started to get all the mods done for it, not sure to sell with mods or put it back to standard ????? have a few months yet to new baby comes or just keep it and get another car to bum about in ??

mods are
bluefin
mongoose full exhaust
ggr air box
ap 355 6pot brakes
front splitter
hozes and leads upgrade
also have a brand new ggr mainfold not fitted yet

do you think i whould get a good return with these still fitted to car or not

Keep it.

I have recently had a similar situation. I have decided to get a run about and just use the focus Rs for fun.

After all you have done to your focus it would be a shame to sell it enjoy it and just buy the misses a 4 door car.

Get it out for track day and for having fun.

Cheers,

Jim

Shame to get rid after all the hard work you put in mate but if you do sell then defo sell the parts, as you`ll get more in the long run. People will rip your hands off for all them bits!

P.S How much you want for brakes?

Dunc, I've got a wee boy aswell and I think it will be ok when he can climb in and out of the car himself. It is a bit of a chav with his carseat at the minute though. I;m keeping mine and the missus is getting a 5 door

If you do decide to sell, only guys that appreciate your mods will pay the extra for the car with them, otherwise best remove them and sell individually as that would benifit your pocket.

How can you part with it

Depends on how much you would like to sell it for with and without the bits

If you do want to sell it, pm me if you like as my mate is after one and is ready with the cash

Have to disagree with you there mate, Escos is a timeless classic imo, with Morrettes it still looks bang up-to-date. Duncs got my dream, a WELL specced, perfect in everyway Imperial Blue Escos in the garage (although mine would have AP brakes and black 18" Comp MOs ) and a FRS 'run around'.

Saw a pic of that S-MAX in the paper today and must say it looks awesome for a poeple carrier! Gay orange grill would be body-coloured though if it was mine.

As some of the ffoc boys know I've been trying to sell my RS for a couple of months now, & I think the reason it's not selling is because of the mods I've done.
Buyers seem to want standard cars so they can do the mods them selves, which is crazy as in the long run it will cost them more money in the end!
Gonna give mine a couple of more weeks, if it dosn't sell by then gonna have to strip it.
Don't really wanna' do this but might be the only way to sell!

just my opinion but you would sell yours quicker if it didnt have that bonnet and those lights swap em back not saying there bad but they narrow your market of prospective buyers\viewers people right things off very easyily for the oddest of things

Thing is Kev I have original lights & bonnet to go with the car!

The way I see it is, everyone knows what a standard RS looks like & they can have mine like that as it's well documented that I have all the standard parts...............bla bla bla!

I do see what you mean mate....

Gonna give it a little more time!

Are your cars being viewed by the Scottish market? I think there is a few people up my way are after FRS's.

Whizzer, how much for the lights?
