ford trying to rob me, RS focus
anyone help me save a few quid.
just phoned ford in stevenage for a quote on service, brakes and tyres.
service annual ;- £169
service mayjor:- £ 229
which i thought thats not to bad but wait for this.
brakes,
pads £153 forgot to ask if that was all round or just front
discs £170 EACH
tyres,
225x40x18
£144 each
any ideas on how to save a few sheets in the herts area?

go to pumaspeed and buy the ebc brakes - and the pads - that's just the fronts!
Tyres - well just have to shop around local tyre garages - play them off against each other.

yep front pads are expensive at ford i priced them up the other day
1 set was 140 plus vat
and if they have weights on the pads they are 240 a set
so i got a set off mintex raceing pads for £96
yep as above you will have too shop around for tyres but i can get michelin sport for £110 each

At my last service, my dealer said there was about 5k left on all the disc and pads!
They wanted £764 for a full set of discs and pads!
Got a full set of EBC's from GGR for less than half that!
