Default bad vibes!

Got a problem got frs outa the garage (bin laid up since crimbo) started ok cos I got a battery maintenance gizmo, let it run for 10mins, went for a quick blatt, just about to pull into mates drive and the frs started to shake and vibrate really bad like the flywheel was about to fall off, still had vibes when stationary, checked car over could not find anything, thought better get frs home ,started to back out of mates drive and there was a loud metalic "TING" and all the vibrations disapeared !!!! drove home no problem still goes well now Im worried wot the f--k was that? any body got any ideas? have checked local ford agents one said the problem was the dual mass flywheel, I checked on ford data base and it looks like it has not got one ! any body got any ideas wot the hell caused the really bad vibrations? the whole car was shaking even stationarywith clutch depressed!
