Default Lowering mk2 focus saloon

Just got a 07 focus 1.8 tdci ghia saloon and its on 16" wheels and the arch gap is horrendous. Will fitting some 18s (hopefully st wheels) and 30mm springs get it sitting nice or am I going to need coilovers. Seen a few modified examples that claim to be on springs but I can't see 30mm springs taking away all that gap unless the 18s will reduce it also?
Wanting to get it looking like this

It's not my cup of tea either but my dad sold it to me at a price that would of been stupid to turn down and that one in the picture is the exact same colour so if I can get it to look like that I'll be happy

To be fair a set of wheels and lowered and they don't look too shabby, just wondered if 30/40mm springs will get it sat like those on 18s

I would expect them to sit a bit lower on rear due to extra trunk weight but 30mm jobbies should be fine
