sorry if i have re opened a old thread. my car has a problem when i am driving along it does this cough like the fuel is running out, it does this as i go up a hill as i go home from work. but it also does the same thing as i go down the hill. will do this for three miles as the car warms up. then it goes away. but as i get home and the traffic gets heaver as you come to round about and need the power to pull off, as you do this the engine goes to cut out. you drop the clutch and rev the hell out of her off she goes. till the next time you need the power. and the same thing again. in jan when we had all that rain the spanner came up on the dash and she went into limp mode. read the ecu and glow plug fault code came up. took plugs put and tested them with my dvm and they were all dead. so replaced them. This and the normal dmf fault two years ago no other problems. when you turn the key no smoke and first time fire up and rev never drop on tick over she purrs on tick over. one other thing the mpg has gone down some weeks 35 mpg others as she was when new.
