Exclamation 'Engine systems failure' ford focus 1.8 tdci

Hi,

My ford focus 55 plate has just displayed this engine systems failure warning. The car is still driveable but it wont go above 3000 revs.

Any suggestions on the problem? Possibly fuel pressure?

Thanks

Sounds like its gone into limp home mode due to a fault. As said, need to have a diagnostics check. It will narrow down the options for whats wrong.

Using my phone, so can't see where you live, but if you're near Sunderland you're welcome to use my code reader or f-super if its suitable to check for fault codes mate
