Default Focus 1.8 TDCi

I viewed a 2003 Focus 1.8 TDCi today, it drove well and was tidy but there was a few little things that made me walk away, one of which was a small oil leak i noticed.

The leak seemed to be around the area i have circled on the image below, after wiping it away and then test driving it more had come back. The clamp on the hose going into the intercooler wasnt the tightest at the top and there was oil around there but i couldnt see where it was actually coming from. Does anyone with experience of these engines etc know what possible causes could be for an oil leak in that area?

Cheers

The oil hadn't been overfilled had it, and it was just breathing a bit out.

No it didnt smoke at all tbh. So it could just have been down to the hose being alittle loose?
