T'good

Hi Guys

I've just brought a 2000 X Reg 1.8TDDI LX, 90PS Focus.

It's in good condition inside and out and only has 72k on the clock but it's not that far off a service so I want to give it a full service as I'm hoping to be racking the mileage up.

Oil and filter
Air filter
Fuel filter
Pollen filter

Looking on the net the service kits list the Duratorq Diesel, I thought the TDDI was an Endura engine. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which engine is fitted to my car so I can ensure that I order the correct service kit for the car?

Also if anyone can recommend a good supplier of service kits I would be greatfull, there seems to be quite a bit of choice and a good range in price, anywhere from £35 to £75. Not looking for cheap, just good quality without paying over the odds.

The engine is probably a C9DA engine, although you will find it written in the engine bay. As for kits just go to a local motor spares shop and get the parts from them, if you give them your reg number they will be able to tell you what parts you need. They might cost a few quid more than ebay, but at least you have them straight away.
