Purchased this car a few days ago, but got a couple of issues....

1) When i turn the engine off, theres a squeek at the end, doesnt do it everytime, but probably 8 out of 10 times. Ive had the cambelt replaced Friday, and the Fan belt today, It was making the noise before getting the fan belt done, but not sure about before the cam belt, as i replaced the cam belt straight after buying it.

2) the oil light flickers on and off, seems to happen when the car is hot and been running a while. as ive not noticed it come on when cooler. Ive checked the levels and they are fine, and no sign of oil in the engine, or under the engine when parked...

Any help would be great

If the oil light flickers with a hot engine and only on idle, you might have an oil pressure problem. Get the pressure measured, just to be sure.

its not so much on idle, its when im driving around... got it booked in on Wednesday to be checked over.... theres a squeeling when the cars cold as well, happens for about 5 mins till its warmed up then stops... had the fan belt replaced hoping to fix it, but guess that wasnt the problem
