Angry TDCI ! and EMS lights...

Hello everyone! - Hello to everyone. I hope that I can assist some of you guys (and gals in the future with my experiences of the TDCI!)

Currently I have a problem...
I have a Focus 54 plate 1.8 tdci, 78k.
While driving circa 70mph this morning on the motorway, the EMS light and the "!" lit up for approx 1.5 secs and there was a drop in power. At this stage I lifted my foot off the gas (for fear of damage). The lights both went out and power was normal again.

I have checked the standard DTC codes - only by using the "press and hold" technique that I am sure you are all familiar with, but 'none' is displayed.

What would cause this?

The car is working fine (currently) and there is nothing (seemingly) wrong. I am just a little concerned that damage (and a large bill) looms!

Thanks in advance, Roy
