It's a mk6...
but... when searching parts it will often be listed as a mk5 (which is presumably why you're asking this question).
If unsure I go off the year, so for example if a part is listed for a '2005 fiesta mkV' then it will be the correct one even though the car is a mk6, if that makes sense

It's a mk6, everyone on car forums knows that but scrap yards and dealerships think they are mk5's.
I had a disagreement one day with an old twat at a scrappies he says the mk5 was actually a mk4 facelift. Well duh 90% of cars out there are facelifts of an older model doesn't mean they are classed as the same car.
