Mk 4 Cooling Fan Not Working
Are their any electricity geniuses on here?
The radiator fan on my mk 4 1.3 does not work and I have tried all the usual stuff to fix it. The fan works if I wire up a battery to it, so it is not getting power from the ECU. What I have found is that the wiring at the plug to the coolant temperature sensor is only showing 4.5 volts on the meter, and I'm guessing that it should read 12.5 volts? My question is: where do I try and look for the voltage drop? It is impossible to trace the wires anywhere.
Thanks!
