Evening all, I know its a common problem but just keep this issue in mind if you have not already had the new washer jets fitted. Water leaking into the spark plug wells is a real issue my sister got one a few months back I did a service on it today and was met with water up to the half way point on the plugs and then once dried out rusty plugs of course so rusty I popped some WD40 on them left them for a hour and then went out to start the car (thinking probably easier to get out if I warm the engine block up. What I got instead was the ceraic portion of the plug fired out of its housing causing me to have to use a screw extractor not the easiest of services lol


CHECK YOUR PLUGS!!!!!

Usually the core plug in the top of the head that causes the water to fill up in there, never heard of the washer jet issues.

Same problem as with focuses I would think which is the core plugs in the head leaking and filling up plug holes only solution is to replace them under cam cover,not a difficult job.
