Default Fiesta mk5 1.25 squeaking noise

hi everyone i have a 2001 1.25 fiesta and it is making a horrible squeaking noise that speeds up when i accelerate but stops getting faster at 3000rpm and does the reverse when slowing down can anyone help?

idler wheel/tensioner on aux belt or even a worn aux belt gets my vote

slightly embarrased turned out to be a dry aux belt

thing is they are meant to be dry chances are its aging and needs replacing or does the tensioner
