Ford fiesta mk4 1.4 zetec s conversion ????
Right new to the forum so bare with me haha. I've got a mk4 fiesta 1997 1.3 lx a 1.3 1999 and a 1.4 zetec s 1996 I want to put the lump from the zetec in to the 1997 1.3 as it is the car I use I have 3 cars so parts aren't a problem. The car I drive (1997) has no power steering etc its bog. I would like to put the whole lot in to mine ie engine elec windows spots clocks boot pop central locking etc etc. can anyone give me some guiding on where to start. I want to know if I can put a 1.7 puma inlet manifold and exhaust on it and where can I get it mapped or chipped?? I've probs left shite loads out but oh we'll haha

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Its pritty simple get the shell you want to keep and strip it down bare and get the other car next to it and take the eninge and gearbox and shafts out as one lump then remove the mounts and stick them in the new shell the just drop in the new eninge setup and then do the eninge bay loom and so on.
yes you can but you need to cut off a small bit of the manifold flange on the left hand side and you will also need the 1.7 brake servo pipe.
as for a remap bluefin super chips will sell you one for 300 iirc but its not worth it on a 1.4 really.

Hi mate cheers for the reply well I've changed my mind now I've got a 1.4 5dr zetec (ghia x) and I'm keeping that rather than messing about with my 3dr. So what mods can I do to the 1.4? To be honest the car shifts for a 1.4 I left a corsa vxr in it. But I do want more power I'm not changing the engine in it I can't be bothered with the work but was thinking bigger throttle body inlet manifold puma exhaust?? Will it all fit cheers
