ST150 MK6.5 High idle issues, please help!!
Hi, I have a 2005 Fiesta ST Mk6 facelift.
It's currently starting up and going to 2k revs, then settling slightly then erratically skipping between and bouncing slightly.
I've swapped the throttle body out for another used, but tested one from a guy in an ST owners club.
Its still behaving the same and I still have no dash lights or errors at all otherwise.
With a live data scan it shows the throttle sensor jumping up and down causing the revs to bounce.
This sensor is in the throttle body unit and works on other STs, so, what could be causing this?
I can't just change the sensor and a new pedal unit from Ford is 400 bricks.
Please help, ive been scratching my head for weeks! D:

High idling
Hi
I have an issue with high revs on startup on my MR200 facelift. I had a flat battery after stupidly leaving my lights on at work. Upon starting it goes up to 2k then drops slowly to around 1k without any popping from the exhaust. Odd thing is if I depress the clutch it drops fast like it used to and the exhaust pops. Any ideas? I tried disconnecting the battery and removing fuses to reset the KAM, left it idling for 10 minutes then turned off and then started it again and took it for a gentle drive
Thanks
