Breaking ST200 Estate

I was selling it, but as the battery light has come on (the alternator's fine, it's a wiring issue) and it's now leaking power steering fluid (from the cooler) it's not really worth selling.

I'm not going to chuck more money into it for no gain so I'm going to have to break it! Loads of bits available as the car's in good condition

•*Freshly rebuilt gearbox with Quaife ATB and brand new clutch and release bearing
•*18in alloys (some peeling lacquer) with great Conti sport contact tyres
•*PI lowering springs (for the estate obviously, but would fit other other Estate Mondeos)
•*Black eye headlights
•*Full leather Recaro interior, (with excellent condition driver's seat with undamaged bolster)
•*ST200 inlet manifolds
•*Full stainless exhaust system with decat pipe
•*ST200 throttle body with new TPS
•*Genuine ST200 mats
•*Quickshift kit
•*Dash Trim
•*Pipercross carbon Vector air filter with ducting
•*All the ancilliaries, starter, alternator etc.

Shame. It would have been intresting to see what could have been done to a car of this type.

How much are you asking for the gearbox?

Problem is, there's not a lot you can do before you either ruin it, or cost yourself an absolute fortune!

Not sure about the price of the gearbox to be honest - Open to offers!

why not sell it complete mate, estates are awsome and id love one some day, i just have to stick with my st24 for the time being

Dan the cooler is a £5 fix and the battery light will be the wiring issue that ford issued a technical service bullitin about, ford will supply you with a lead from the alternator to i think the battery to fix it

come on you know you need to save it!

just in case you don't how much for the driveshafts?

I know mate, but there's also fluid coming from the bellhousing, which means it's gearbox-out time again. And it needs new HT leads. I want to sell the car not spend ages fixing it, only for someone to offer me peanuts for the car.

£50 for the driveshafts and intermediate shaft.

Because It's worth nothing as it is! I'd be lucky to get 1300 as a whole. Gutted to break it, but it's the only way to get money out of it.

There are some internal differences, but the cams, airbox and map are different.
Can still get decent gains with just the inlets and TB.

Looking for £250 for both inlets and TB, and £300 for that plus cams.

Work has gone into the car, but it's worth bugger all as it stands so breaking it is the only option if I want to get some cash out of it.

Looking at mk3 mondeo next. Need a large car for the family!

Inlets are here if you want to bid!

Would do ECU and key for £40. And cams for £50. With that lot you're getting very near to the ST200's 200bhp

HI,

don't suppose you have the original air filter box and hoses do you, i'm after one for my ST200 which currently has a K&N on it, really want to get it back to standard, not a fan of K&N, bad experience on a previous car.

Also what is the interior like as i am after the leather center headrest for mine.
