Hi

Has anyone fitted bonnet struts to their Mk5 RS2000?
Anyone know which ones are best to use? are they any good? and are they straight forward to fit?
I was thinking on a set but werent to sure what were best?

if you mean the aftermarket bolt on type then plenty over the years have used them however they do need a little fabrication to work with cutting and drilling holes on your inner wing lip which does look ugly tbh

its a personal taste thing really as I may dislike them but others love them, I just cant justify drilling holes in a wing for a lazy boys bonnet stay

Know i agree it might give a better look but for the effor of the drilling and new wing lips i think its a small mod i could live without tbh.
