Fuel in metering unit, but not down injectors*PROGRESS PICS
I have spent the past 2 weeks trying to get a spark... which i now have. But now i dont have any fuel. Yet it must have squirted some in recently as the ends of the injectors are still slightly wet with petrol.
There is fuel in the metering unit, but it is not putting it out for some reason. Is there something that commonly goes that i should know of, or is this another silly thing that is going to take me a week lol
Here are a few pics of the engine so far, getting a little grubby as im working on it, but when its done i'll treat it to some bling. Nothing much, just tank covetrs, throttle bracket etc

Doesnt the flap move itself when cranking? It did when it was cranking without any fuel in there anyway.
I will go try this in a minute now. I have pressed it when its NOT cranking and you can feel there is fuel there...
**saying that, its a big dark for all that right now. so what if fuel does come out when depressed, and what if it doesnt?

It Wasnt Me!
if fuel comes out when cranking and someone pushes the flap down then its a good thing, but it will not come out the injector hoses if the flap isnt bing pressed whilst cranking, all i know sorry
Whats the ignition timing set too? it looks a little too advanced to me?
std is 12degrees tdc with vacum blocked and 11 with it unblocked, or vice versa
so you have spark, and hopefully fuel, check ignition timing!
fuel pump going whilst cranking?, fuel pressure upto the metering unit?

Ignition timing is all setup with the standard marks on the head. Did have a problem with the cap not sitting on the dizzy very well and it was really loose.
Fuel pump is going when cranking yes... lol, ive burnt a starter motor out trying to sort this.
If the ignition timing is out, will it not fuel?

But yeah, thats how i have it.
The Ign timing is set to the standard marks on the head for now.... but say it were still wrong, would it be squirting fuel in?
