Escort mk4 efi turbo conversion questions
Hi all.
I recently bought back a mk4 escort cabby I mfi turbo'd years ago,it's in a bad state mechanically and I'm not going down them if route with it as there's too much missing and I want efi.
What all do I need to get a good running cvh efi engined mk4???
I have...
Fiesta rs turbo inlet manifold.
3 complete non turbo efi engines,heads etc
Fiesta rs turbo crossover pipe
Full mk4 escort cabriolet efi loom from an h plate cab I broke
Series one mfi engine with non turbo inlet manifold
I want the engine bay to look totally factory which shouldn't be too hard,I just need to know what I need so I can see if it's there or not.
Now,I know there are 2 different ecus,ofac and ofab,how do I know which 1 I need?
I read all heads are the same,is that the same for camshafts and valves across n/a and turbo'd engines?
Are the blocks the same bar the hole for the oil return?
Is the crank and rods the same?
Pistons,I presume the pistons will be different for lower compression so is there a cast nomber I should look for?
Which oil pump is best or are they all the same?
I won't be throwing it together,I just want to keep what I need and the best of what's there and get rid of the rest so I don't have clutter everywhere.

I have a full efi loom,engine loom but I'm not sure there's an ecu,there was ofac and ofab there when I sold it but the guy can't find them now.
Would it be ok to p.m you pics of what I have to confirm what I have is compatible??
Built mfi turbo and injected cabbys and vans before but not done anything efi.
