Default Stock ecu boost??

I have just replaced my old stock worn out turbo with a new upgraded one! Probably What everyone would Call a stage 1.
After it was fitted the actuator (-31)
Was set Way to High, and the car would boost at around 12-13 psi (Got the AEM digital boost gauge)

The boost have been decreased, but the plan is to run 15 psi when the car is ready and when i have the money for a tune.

I thought that i had a Stock ecu and needed to get a chipped one, but as far as i know the stock ecu is not able to run that high of a boost level?

I believe that I've got a 90'spec ecu, but my question is, how many psi is possible on a stock ecu? Is it even possible to get 12-13 psi with a stock ecu? Or have my ecu been chipped by the previous owner? Would love to save a few hundred pounds on a tune!

Cheers😃

0.7 BAR (7 PSI)

Not sure what the boost cut is on RST.

I would want to be sure that it had been remapped, rather than risk melting an engine!

As I wrote, the boost have been decreased, it's back to 0,5 bar and I'm getting everything done by a tuner when the time comes.. I'm only interested in knowing if 12-13 psi indicates that my ecu is chipped? Or if it's possible to get that from a stock ecu?

10psi was the max you could run on a standard chip
