EFI Inlet Manifold
Guys,
Looking for different Inlet manifold for my S2.
Recently done the EFI conversion and basically I'm looking to get rid of the pipe that goes straight over the rocker cover to the Intercooler.
Would the one of an XR3i cause any problems as its a side entry and would allow the removal of the pipe over the rocker.
Any help would be great.

The EFI inlets have a cutout in the ports that meet up with the head, for the injectors. If you use anything else you will have to cut those in, or get an adaptor plate for them. And you will need to find a way to mount the injectors because the fuel rail bolts to the EFI inlet.
Also the EFI inlets have electronics like a throttle position sensor, air temp, that you willl need to somehow make work on whatever other inlet you choose.

Yeah, I meant the EFI head has the cutouts for the injectors, though the EFI inlet does split in half, no idea if you can put another inlet on top of that and use the EFI bottom half which has the injector/fuel rail mounts on it

It's a MFI head i have. I got the adaptor plate from Jano for the EFI manifold to bolt too.
Just looking to see what side entry manifolds there are so i can get rid of that crossover pipe and try and tidy the engine bay up abit.
Cheers for the suggestions.

Combination of EFI head and MFI inlet or MFI head and EFI inlet just causes unnecessary problems.
I modified an RS1600i inlet but still use a MFI head.
In your case I'd use an adapter to make the EFI tb fit to the MFI inlet. Going full ZT will make things easier. Unless you're using Escort/Fiesta 16V setup, most of them also have a crossover pipe.
