okay I wondered if someone could help me please. I have just bought what is said to be some genuine Escort MK 3 wings! So one I can tell is definitely genuine because it has the ford sticker at the top however I believe the other one is a fake because there is no stickers on it ! Is there any way of telling if these are genuine or not ?

is there not a ford stamp anywhere on the panel, i thought they were stamped along the top wing edge....

Genuine one should have a small ford oval stamp on the top edge ,look for the one on the genuine one and it should be in a similar place

Thanks for the help guys !! Ye after paying Ł500 for these I'm starting to think neither is genuine. I'll put some pics up shortly hopefully someone can shed some light

as above genuine wings will have ford stamped on them on the wing rail iirc

Not always stamped in the same place,but should be one somewhere what colour are they should be a dark grey black.

Firstly, sorry to bump an 8 year old thread. But I'm in talks with a seller to buy a used mk3 escort front wing. I already have a passenger side wing but cannot find a new genuine drivers side at a price I want to pay. Here's some photos of the wing in question. It doesn't have any ford logo stamped on it but does have some digits stamped further up the wing rail
