Default Standard or smoked, yay or nay

Had these sitting for years, thought they were someones own attempt at tinting

but they are genuine aftermarket smoked ones

was going to eBay them last night, tried them on car, now not sure what i think?

So whats your thoughts?

They were the best aftermarket smoked ones out there,i had a set on mine 20 years back when they came out ,i like them both, chop and change them as you feel like it,smoked ones work with the alloys and small plate

I thought they would look horrible, but really changed my mind i think!

There is a make on the lenses "ARIC" or something similar to that anyway,

They were just lying in a pile of rubbish and leftovers from the car they came off ready for bin, so quite happy i saved them

Smoked for me mate, always look nice on a black car but as twins said you can alwSys chop and change them whenever takes your fancy.

I've got exactly the same smoked ones 'ARIC' as you say. I'm going to sell mine as I'm going back to standard but they look better on your car

Im sure you'll have no problem selling them, seem to be quite sought after!

Yea i was searching for a few pics of cars with them fitted, red or black cars seem to suit them best imo!

If you are running clears up front I would go for smoked.

Although I like the original look, I love the smoked rears, especially on a grey car!

I had a mint set and managed to drop one and break the corner, doh!

Fully clear (No orange filter either!) front and side repeaters, smoked rears. I have a set of the smoked rears the same as yours in the garage ready for my next tin top.

I'm not a fan of the amber lenses at all.
