So, i've just ordered Koni yellow adjustable dampers. I have read that the rear dampers Can only be adjusted when they are off the car?
So i just wondered, what are your settings on your erst with koni's?
At the moment i have dampers and springs from a regular mk4.. So the car is very very soft, and the front almost jumps of the Ground when i put my foot down.. And i almost get seasick in turns
So i want lowering, and a mutch tighter/stiffer handling, and the front lifting as less as possible, what Would be the Best setting?

And what are your overrall experience with koni's for the rst?

The Koni's I've got on my car are top adjustable just like the fronts

The non coilover/Non MacPherson strut dampers I have seen have all been adjustable 'off the car'. That is for recent cars. That is not to say that you cannot adjust them on the car. As long as you can put the damper to the very bottom of its travel and turn the adjuster it can be adjusted. The bump stop may prevent this however.

If it were me I would try going from one extreme to another and trying to find the middle ground. Annoying with your dampers for sure. but you could be guessing for a while even with reccomendations. Everyone likes different things.

I fiited Koni's to my cossie 13 years ago and they have been great still as dry as when I fitted them and still damp perfectly
The only trouble I've had( as I use it as a Daily driver in the Summer months) is the spring platforms have had to be repaired as they rusted badly due to the poor paint they have on as standard so I would advise a few coats of smoothrite or simalar on top of the original paint

I have the adjustable Koni dampers on mine and all 4 can be adjusted on the car. I have mine on the softest setting. They're still quite stiff, but it makes it bearable for a daily drive.

Mines on fully soft front and back.

Have Koni adjustables on my S2 and are without a doubt the best mod to do, I think from new they arrive at their softest setting with a blob of paint on the adjuster to confirm this.....I may be wrong? Left mine set at this and are brilliant for everyday spirited driving.
