Default Removing original ford sound deadening

As above I've stripped the interior out to have the rust sorted though is keep it that way but I just don't like the stripped out look, I don't rely want to put the original sound deadening back in as it holds water etc so was going to fit aftermarket but it's only thin, will this make the carpet baggy?

Yes, put it back in if the car will be water tight. I binned mine off after the July 2007 floods. I hated the feel and sloppyness of the carpet so bought a replacement set.

😔 looks like it's going back in

Fuse box leaks a tiny bit in very heavy rain, maybe I'll buy a car cover for now 😂
