as per title are there different seals? My garage has ordered 2 in and both are wrong. They've asked me if the camshaft is aftermarket, which i believe it is.

the supplier of theirs cant find a camshaft seal to fit this camshaft.

Nope only 1 size. Never had an issue over the years and used a huge variety of brands for the seals and all on different cams. They are definitely getting a cam seal in and not crank...

cheers yes hes said camshaft to me a couple of times, and they(same bloke) fit a crank seal in october when i had a new oil pump fitted.

I just popped into the garage, the seal supplied is about 5-8mm smaller than mine and is brown. Mine is black.

Don't know if colour is anything but I bought one and it was reddish colour? Got it from carparts express.

I shall take a look. I saw the price they sold it for and was only £3.58 ive bought a black one of ebay incase they get supplied the wrong size again.
