painting a S1 body kit
Right I've started to prep my S1 body kit and i've noticed that the paint has cracked so I have taken nearly all the paint off.
What i want to know is what you or your painter has used to prevent this from happening.
I know there are certain flexi additives that can be added to the paint. My problem is I'm doing mine in basecoat and lacquer so I guess I will have to add it to the primer basecoat and the lacquer.
Any info would be much appreciated cheers mark

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
You must use plastic primer first so that the 2k primer will adhere to the plastic. Personally you don't really need a flexi additive because the bodykit is ridged enough when fitted the the car.
