Do mk3 door handles fit the mk4?

I want a set of the alloy early type door handles for my car do you know if they are a direct fit ?

yeah they fit, i know this as i had mk4 doors on my mk3 rs1600i and fitted the early metal handles with no issues!

I'm sure i read/saw somewhere that the mk2 Granada (chrome) handles fit, makes a change from black plastic!?
