Default New wiring loom

After deciding to convert from mfi to efi I'm looking to also renew the loom, is there anywhere/body who does them and how much do they cost ?

Cheers for any help.

And what sort of EFI conversion are you doing? If it's standalone management (GEN8, OMEX, Etc.) then you'll have a brand new loom anyway.
If it's old Ford stuff (OFAB, OFAC, Cossie, Etc.) I would advise you to go standalone instead.

Looking at a stand alone ecu, had a look at the gen8 on boost monkeys web site but I gather there is no loom available at present for that.

I'm at the point of a full resto on he Erst which was mfi, Iv built a zvh lump and have the fiesta flywheel and inlet ect, this is the first one Iv owned so on a steep learning curve and don't want to be doing jobs twice, any info at this point is much appreciated.

Cheers Chris .

You won't find any new management that comes with a loom already made up for an RST, that's the job of whoever installs it, there's also many options too so a loom for one RST may be quite different to a loom for another RST.

I disagree there are 3 systems I supply to my customers with new wiring looms custom made to fit pretty much any fwd setup using most engines from cvh zetec duratec etc taking into account any custom one off stuff.

Not a for sale add just stating that there IS off the shelf systems with looms from omex, weber, kms, pectel, emrald, gems, life racing to name a few..

I'm guessing that's something you've had made up and not a loom supplied by the management manufacturer though? (Still equally as useful for people not confident wiring them up themselves).

How does that work with options like ALS, boost control, programmable outputs/inputs, lambda, launch control, flat shift, etc? Do you just have loads of wires left over somewhere? Separate sub looms? Or are those options not available if they chose a pre-made loom? How would you know how long to make them and what connectors to use? Just curious as there's so many options and choices... no two installs are alike I find.
