Default strange air leak

hy well after I rebuild my engine put all the breather system togheter like it was before .... I only did some modification wich I put a 5 th injector on the crossover pipe and I put a air pressure sensor in the place of the old cold injector with a homemade adapter plate ...

the car start but at idle it goes up and down but not very mutch like from 800 rpm to 900rpm

and the AFR still at 18.03

what is strange is when I take the 5th fuel injector off then in cross over pipe I have a little hole where the air flow in but the rpm d on t go higher and the AFR is 14.7 at idle???? normaly it schuld be worst nooo??

thanks

So your saying by introducing an air leak in the crossover pipe the AFR drops to 14.7 and the idle stabilizes?
You are correct it should be the exact opposite as un-metered air is entering the engine.

yes is that you understand correctly
is strange no what is it meaning? I was thinking of my amal valve because I fit a IB5 gearbox an drilled a hole to fix the amal valve an maybe I did a bad pipe connecting ? can it be?

Introducing any un-metered air into an MFI setup should cause it to stall or at least be very lean.
It doesn't make sense?! lol

well there is my bosses (plug) where the injector with a rubbing ring seal seat in
when I take the injector with the rubbing ring seal off a big hole is there and the car stalls (cut off)

but if I take the injector off without the rubbing ring seal that this seal stay in the boses hole and make only a small hole the AFR run fine to 14.7 and stabilized
