I'm changing the management on my S2 is it worth selling the metering unit and inlet etc, or just chuck them away?

Yeah a decent metering unit is usually easily sold, inlets maybe not as saleable.

The question is..

will you ever sell the car? If you do would you sell it as std and take off the management.

Or are you keeping it and going ahead with all your future plans.


As that has the answer worked out for you.


I have lots of people tell me they will never sell their car. Only to come back years later remove the management and get more money back. Return it to std and use the management on another car or shell.

my pal dan is a classic one. Bought a car with management put it to std sold it. Bought a shell and fitted running gear and new stuff with the money and track'd it. Then smashed it and sold it without losing any money.

I'm going down this route too. I've got an EMS ecu and most other parts I need apart from injectors and mfi-efi interface plate.
I'll sell all my mfi stuff.

I sold all my stuff on when I did the conversion . Did quite well out of it from memory
